Providing TMS therapy solutions for those suffering from depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.

Our office uses the CloudTMS machine. Using pulsed magnetic fields, TMS treats the problem by stimulating the part of the brain believed to be involved.

Psychiatric Consultation

All patients are seen for at least one initial consultation appointment to:

  • Review their psychiatric treatment history
  • Gather information from psychiatric care providers, therapists, primary care physicians, and significant others as indicated.
  • Discuss treatment options, which may include: TMS, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, or other treatment options.
  • Work together to establish a therapeutic treatment plan based on their goals and health and wellness needs.
  • If a person decides that TMS is the treatment of choice they will meet with the psychiatric provider to assess and evaluate their progress during the treatment course.
  • We also provide ongoing psychiatric care, including psychotherapy and medication management.

Medication Management

Our psychiatric practitioners do not usually manage TMS client’s medications long term. However we encourage clients to continue with their established practitioner or we can make recommendations if needed. Once the TMS treatment is complete clients usually return back to their primary mental health provider for ongoing care.

What to expect from a TMS Session:

Before treatment

You’ll recline comfortably in the treatment chair, with small, curved magnetic coil positioned lightly on your head.

During treatment

TMS delivers focused magnetic stimulation directly to the target areas of the brain. You’ll hear a clicking sound and feel a painless tapping sensation on your head.

After treatment

You can resume normal activities immediately. There are no effects on alertness or memory and you can even drive yourself to and from treatment sessions.

“My mood is better and I don’t have the urge to drink alcohol like I did.”
